Call for expressions of interest:

CFCCA Revisioning Artist Co-design Working Group

September – December 2020 (7 half-days)

£150 fee per half day

CFCCA is embarking on a process of revisioning where open consultation and conversation will help inform and shape our future. We want to embed artists at the centre of this process, employing them with agency to co-design key elements of it and support us to readdress the status quo.

To do this we are looking for artists to actively engage in a co-design working group, bringing a multiplicity of voices to inform CFCCAs approach to the revisioning process and methodology. Due to the specialist nature of CFCCAs work, we are particularly interested in working with artists of Chinese heritage.

Candidates are invited to submit no more than 2 sides of A4 to tell us:

• Why you want to be a part of the co-design working group
• The change you would like to see through the work of the group
• What knowledge and experience you can bring to the role
• How you would engage with the co-design approach and working with others

For more information and to apply, please download the CFCCA Revisioning Artist Co-design Working Group Brief, read about our revisioning process and submit an expression of interest (max. 2 pages) along with the CFCCA Equality Monitoring form to James Byrom, CFCCA Operations Manager, at:

Closing date: Friday 28 August 2020.

Successful applicants will be informed by Friday 4 September 2020. The first working group meeting is suggested to be held on Tuesday 15 September 2020 depending on availability.

CFCCA Revisioning Facilitator

September 2020 – July 2021

£8,000 – £10,000 fee (candidates are invited to provide a budget)

Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art (CFCCA) is seeking a Facilitator with experience in change management to lead a revisioning process that will shape the next stage in the strategic direction of CFCCA.

The revisioning process will review the mission and purpose of our organisation, its relevance and impact, who we are and who we make our work for and why. Through open consultation and conversation the process will produce recommendations to inform CFCCA’s strategic direction and growth. Central to the process will be reflection on equity and representation within the organisation, considering the importance of diversity and inclusion in our work as an organisation that leads and supports Chinese contemporary art and artists.

An exciting time for the organisation, we are looking for a facilitator to lead this consultation process through close engagement with a wide range of stakeholders including the CFCCA staff team, Board of Trustees and an artist working group specifically recruited to co-design key elements of the approach.

We are looking for an individual or consortium with:
• Experience of completing a similar scope of work, this can be within or outside the cultural sector.
• Experience in reviewing organisational diversity and equality, integrating new thinking into organisational process and strategy.
• Experience of seeing a change process through to completion.
• An interest in CFCCA and its work.

For more information and to apply, please download the CFCCA Revisioning Facilitator Brief, read about our revisioning process, and submit a two-page expression of interest along with the CFCCA Equality Monitoring form to Zoe Dunbar, CFCCA Director, at:

Closing date for applications: 12 noon, Friday 4 September 2020

Interviews will be held virtually on Thursday 10 September 2020.
