To celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Rat, we have developed a series of free drop-in activities both at CFCCA and across the city centre. Events are open to all and are family-friendly.
Visit CFCCA over the Chinese New Year weekend (25-26 Jan) to submit your entry for a Year of the Rat drawing competition, for your chance to win an ORIGINAL drawing by artist Joey Yu and a range of runner-up prizes.
You can also participate in the drawing contest online, to win an A4 print of Joey Yu’s illustration ‘Looking Through Someone Else’s Eyes’.
To enter online:
- Post your drawing, inspired by the Year of the Rat, on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter
- Tag @cfcca_uk (Instagram, Twitter) or @cfccauk (Facebook)
- Use the hashtag #ChineseNewYearMCR
Deadline of the online contest: Wednesday 29 January, 6pm GMT
The competition is open to everyone. The drawing must be created by YOU.
