Learning and engagement
CFCCA is committed to creating opportunities for a diverse audience to learn, engage, interact and respond to our programme.
We work with a variety of local partner organisations alongside artists and practitioners to deliver a range of engagement activity closely linked to our programme, developing activities which will benefit and enrich the lives of a variety of audiences from young people to our local community.
Families and Age Friendly Events
CFCCA offers activities that cater for families, young children and older people. To find out more visit our events listings.
We welcome group bookings for tours from schools, universities and other community groups. To organise this please email firstname.lastname@example.org allowing at least two weeks notice. We aim to accommodate requests depending on staff capacity.
YouthLab is CFCCA’s programme for young people (aged 16-25) who are interested in contemporary art and developing – or considering developing – a career in the arts and culture sector. Through a series of free practical workshops, artist talks and cultural trips, those who take part are offered the opportunity to work alongside CFCCA staff, artists and local, national and international practitioners to develop their skills and experience and work on live public-facing projects, supported by the CFCCA team.
Our current YouthLab project is supported by a grant from Manchester Arts Sustainability Team (MAST).
Dumpling Social Club
The Dumpling Social Club is an arts programme for Chinese older (50+) people. Participants have the chance to practice art-making, meet like-minded people, visit other arts and culture venues across Greater Manchester, and enjoy making and eating dumplings!
