Front of House Assistant

18.75 hours per week, including weekend days

Permanent

Assistant Grade, from National Living Wage up to £17,000

Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art (CFCCA) is looking for a Front of House Assistant to maintain excellent visitor services through supervising and supporting the front of house volunteer team, ensuring a positive first experience of CFCCA for all visitors. The Front of House Assistant will carry out reception duties, including meeting and greeting visitors, answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries and support the Operations team to ensure CFCCA’s venue is clean, safe and welcoming for audiences, artists, contractors and staff. The role is part time with flexible hours including weekend working and would suit candidates looking to develop their experience in the operations of cultural venues within our small but ambitious staff team.

Development and Marketing Manager

3 days / 22.5 hours per week

Permanent

Manager Grade £25,500 – £28,500

The Development and Marketing Manager is a new management role which will work closely with the CFCCA Director on innovating and leading successful fundraising and commercial income initiatives. This vital and innovative position comes at an exciting time for CFCCA to lever new funding and support as Greater Manchester leads the field in a growing market of trade and investment between UK and China, alongside an increased public appetite to learn more about this important area of the world.

Managing the Development and Marketing team, to include a Marketing & Communications Coordinator and Business Development Co-ordinator, the role will also oversee the marketing and communications strategy to support audience development, drive increased visits, promote stakeholder engagement and raise the profile of the organisation and its reach locally, nationally and internationally. An externally facing role, it will support the Director in developing stakeholders whilst raising CFCCA’s profile.

Marketing and Communications Coordinator

4 days / 30 hours per week

Coordinator Grade £18,000 – £20,000

Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art (CFCCA) is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Marketing and Communications Coordinator to deliver CFCCA’s marketing and communications strategy, encompassing devising marketing initiatives, PR and social media activity. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing content across traditional and new media to promote our work, driving visitor numbers and growing the public profile and reputation of CFCCA as well as supporting the development and implementation of an effective audience development strategy. The role will suit candidates with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a marketing role within the arts and cultural sector looking to grow within our small but ambitious staff team.
