In partnership with Manchester Science Festival.

Join CFCCA Artist in Residence Ya-chu Kang at the Science & Industry Museum to find out more about her fascination with the city’s textile heritage and hear how she weaves science and technology into her work.

Witness Ya-Chu Kang create a large scale ‘dust carpet.’ Using dust sourced from typical industrial materials such as bricks and plaster powder, this work will re-create patterns and motifs drawn from her experience of the UK so far. Currently Artist in Residence at CFCCA, this is Ya-chu Kang’s first time in the UK as part of the artist exchange programme with Taipei Artist Village, Taiwan.

This event is suitable for anyone ages 12+
